This rollicking account traces the history of Bostons T Wharf from colonial times. Copy #272 in a limited edition of 500 copies. A cult item for Boston collectors, with illustrations by the inimitable Larry O’Toole. This copy is presented by “former T Wharf Rat” Ken Jones to Frederick W. Simonds. It is accompanied by “The Vury Last Edition of the Wharf Rat” Vol. V, Number 15, July 25, 1932, giving a real sense of the shenanigans that transpired among the resident artists, writers, bohemians, and bums on that long-gone piece of waterfront in that long-gone era. Copies of Hauk’s book survive, but issues of “The Wharf Rat” – an early Zine – are hard to find. Very good condition in original binding.
