This is Ezra Strongs oft-reprinted version of Silas Andruss collection by Thomas Carey, originally published in 1825, mostly containing the exploits of famous English pirates and those who frequented the West Indies, but adding the Boston executions of 1835. See Sabin 32182. Bound in original calf, rebacked with bits of perished backstrip laid down. Pages foxed and stained. Not a pretty copy, but hey, we’re talking pirates here. Yarr!
