Broken into sections of “Animal Tales” and “Marchen” with Creole on verso and English on recto. Includes such maritimish tales as “The Elephant and the Whale” and the famed Tar Baby makes his appearance. Reprints are readily available, but this first edition is scarce. Backstrip lightly sunned, else very good condition.
