A rare Herreshoff catalog, not to be confused with the later and more common “Yachts by Herreshoff.” This one was published in the 1930s and features beauty shots of America’s Cup contenders as well as yachts designed for private owners – almost 30 pages of this catalog is taken up with long list of them, giving the name and size of eacxh owner’s yacht. Also, a list of cup defenders, and lines, images and descriptions of some Herreshoff-designed class yachts, from 12 1/2 footers to Fishers Island 31 footers. With copies of 1933 price list laid in. Fine condition in original wrappers.
