First edition of the detailed catalog of this marvelous collection of American furniture and decorative arts. This is the copy of author and expert in American antiques, Dean Fales, Jr. It contains his notes and marginal comments throughout, in black and red pencil, and 3 pages of typescript stapled to the back blank, titled “Corrections made for Second Edition of the M & M Karolik Volume.” It is signed by him on the front blank, and contains the bookplate of auctioneer Ron Bourgeault. Light cover wear, but very good condition in original binding.
