Finally finished cataloging, preparing, packing, and shipping all the material to the West Coast for the Pasadena and San Francisco shows. The task seemed particularly arduous this year, mostly because I had a lot of interesting and obscure manuscript material that needed to be read, understood, put in context and written up, but also because, well… you know, I’m not as young as I used to be. Anyway, after all that stuff was cleared out I saw that my office was cluttered with recent acquisitions – nothing particularly rare, all that sort of material went west. Just a pile of decent books that needed to get cataloged and put up on Biblo, ABE, and ABAA sites. Then I thought, “As long as I’m writing all this stuff up, why don’t I make a catalog out of it? People are bound to buy some of what’s on offer, and I might even get paid soon enough to have a little walking around money for California.
So here they are, in all their glory. Mostly maritime, larded with a few interesting books in other fields. As usual, we will pay postage on all items shipped within the US.
