First edition. A recounting of “The adventures of Nansen and Peary on the Great Ice-Cap.” A readable summary in a pretty cover. Mary Douglas was apparently a professional scribe. Another one of her books – “The Frozen North” – is listed in Arctic Bib. This one is not. Very good condition in publisher’s decorated cloth.
