Root Cellar Books

Dead of winter. The firewood and liquor are disappearing more quickly than anticipated. This is when we head down to the root cellar for extra grub. Some taters or turnips or onions or beets. Nothing fancy, just tasty and nourishing. Comfort food in the truest sense.

The books in this catalog come from my biblio-root cellar. They were set aside in the bounty summer and fall for a time such as this. Nothing fancy, but plenty of nourishment.

All books are in Good to Very Good antiquarian condition unless stated otherwise. Ink signatures and bookplates not noted unless they significantly mar the appearance of the book. ALL BOOKS AND MANUSCRIPTS WILL BE SHIPPED FREE AND FULLY INSURED WITHIN THE US. Shipping for oversized books and overseas orders will be billed at cost.

We recommend ordering by email, since queries are processed in the order in which they are received, whereas phone messages may not be picked up immediately if we happen to be out of the office. No response to a message left on our machine means prior sale. We accept MC, Visa, PayPal, check or money order. WE DO NOT RETAIN CREDIT CARD NUMBERS, so if your are paying by MC or Visa you will have to provide that information. New customers and overseas orders are requested to pay with order in U.S. dollars or upon receipt of a pro forma invoice.
