This is a collection of 124 scarce maritime books and manuscripts, reasonably priced, with a sprinkling of cheaper readiong copies of classics such as Cordingly's "Under the Black Flag." High spots include a first edition of Bennett's "Steam Navy," a beautiful copy of "The Naval Monument" in original calf, immaculate copies of "Bully Hayes," "The Yacht America," and "Nathaniel Lord Thompson," Pyle's "Book of Pirates" with a dustjacket, and a manuscript plan of Vanderbilt's yacht "Alva." We think there's something for everyone; hope there's something for you.

At the moment we're slaving away on a sizzling rare book catalog that we hope to have ready by July.

DESCRIPTION- All books "8vo" or "12mo" (about the size of a standard novel) unless otherwise described. "4to" designates a larger book, up to about 12 inches tall, and "folio" a still larger book. "16mo" and "32mo" are smaller sizes, down to about 3 inches tall.
